Architect IV
Location: Remote
Pay Rate: $165 to $186 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary:
The Livefire Solutions Architect is a hands-on Compute Specialist with significant experience in the architecture, design, and deployment of cloud-capable infrastructure. In other words, this person will be skilled in all phases of developing and delivering the benefits of virtualization and higher-order abstraction (compute, storage, network, and management) in customer environments, and is fluent in disseminating that information to a given audience.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Carbon Black/Intrinsic Security
- Knowledge of endpoint operating systems Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS
- Minimum of 5-10 years in a Security Engineer or Consulting role, with experience in Threat Remediation, Incident Response, Penetration Testing
- 5+ years of experience working with Enterprise Security products
Required Skills:
- Demonstrated ability to capture, develop, and share IP, knowledge with the community at large, as well as specific individuals
- Understanding of common business security requirements (i.e. Security Policy, Compliance and Audit, Threat modeling)
- Knowledge of endpoint operating systems Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS
- Minimum of 5 years in a Security Engineer or Consulting role, with experience in Threat Remediation, Incident Response, Penetration Testing
- 5+ years of experience working with Enterprise Security products
- Experience in Incident Response across various Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
- Strong understanding of Threat Intelligence Lifecycle
- Experience in related technologies such as patch management, configuration management, SIEM, auditing/compliance, forensics or incident response
- Architect level understanding of Public and Private cloud technology.
- Deep knowledge and hands on experience in one or more of the following;
o Carbon Black Endpoint Protection Platforms
o Carbon Black Endpoint Standard
o Carbon Black Enterprise EDR
o Cloud Workload Protection
o Carbon Black Audit and Remediation - Hands on experience with Public Cloud Technologies including VMware Cloud on AWS, Azure and Google Compute Platform
- Exposure to the VMware Software Defined Datacenter. including VMware Cloud Foundation
- Experience with developing custom integrations between disparate systems using APIs
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal skills, both written and oral
- Able to clearly articulate complex subjects to a large audience through presentations and white boarding
- Proficient with the English language
- Estimated travel can burst up to 50% globally (steady state = 30-40%)
