Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Mableton, Georgia

As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you play a crucial role in helping the company meet growth objectives and profitability goals. As part of the Business Intelligence team you will assist in the design of internal systems and procedures to aid in the development of best practices that ensure the enterprise operates efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Business Intelligence team by assessing business requests for automation feasibility, data availability, and advancement opportunities
  • Document Reporting and Data Requirements to support BI related projects
  • Perform data analysis to ensure solution is viable, raise any exceptions or concerns
  • Prepare test plans, cases and execute as needed to ensure BI solutions are ready for production release
  • Provide Training to end users, as requested on new BI solutions
  • Effectively communicate with and respond to customers, team members, and key leaders, providing in depth knowledge transfer
  • Handle special projects as requested by management

Requirements 

  • Experience analyzing system data for enterprise data warehouse projects
  • Must have experience in business, data and reporting analysis
  • Ability to prepare reports, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into clear, concise written text
  • Experience writing SQL queries
  • Understanding of dimensional data modelling
  • Experience with Data Governance Frameworks and Methodologies a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and able to collaborate with others as part of a team
  • Possess an intellectual curiosity with a desire to learn
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of complex information
  • Knowledge of statistics
  • Customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently with some supervisor
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
