The Global Mobile Applications Manager is accountable for Mobile Apps and Web-enabled (e.g. Progressive/Responsive) software development, a portfolio of Mobile applications and related integrations. Also responsible for development strategy and execution, including the use of in-house developed software, commercial software and cloud-based software solutions.



Responsibilities

  • Oversee projects through completion; analyzes, designs, and develops software; configures and interfaces purchased mobile applications; manages development projects from initial design through testing, deployment and operations using Agile and DevOps principles
  • Accountable for the high availability of service as it relates to Mobile Apps and Web-enabled Applications and vendor hosted systems, including the development, maintenance and communication of a Global Mobile Apps and Web-enabled Applications IT Roadmap
  • Accountable for the delivery of processes and controls to ensure the security of confidential data across all regions
  • Accountable for the establishment and management of the Work Intake process, including development & enhancement requests and corresponding backlogs across the various applications supporting the services aligned to this role
  • Act as a change agent and passionate advocate for driving business transformation through technology and operational excellence
  • Research Mobile application development options and provide analysis for strategic direction, both functional and technical
  • Consult with internal departments to identify customer and strategic needs, building them into application roadmaps and project objectives
  • Act in the escalation path for on-call support as necessary, including coordination of crisis management activities as required during an incident



Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, which should include ten or more years in management in the technology industry. Five years Law firm experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-level projects and deliver measurable results within prescribed timelines
  • Ability to understand and reduce technical debt, increase platform stabilization, and streamline the application portfolio
  • Experience in delivering enterprise software applications using common web-compliant technologies
  • Hands-on experience with Project Management, Agile and DevOps principles and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies
  • Prior experience with the Middleware tools (e.g. Intapp Integrate, Biztalk, MQ Series, Tibco, etc.) preferred
  • Mobile Application design, development, and deployment experience
  • Experience with mobile application development tools, such as Fliplet, Kony, etc. preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps concepts preferred
  • Change Management experience; ability to build consensus and drive value. Strong experience managing high business risk projects
  • Strong experience working with stakeholders on a global basis
