IT Support Specialist

Pay: $55,000 – 75,000 based on experience

Location: Kennesaw

Our client is one of the largest global medical equipment manufacturers in the world with its North American headquarters in Kennesaw. They are immediately looking for an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide PC and network support for roughly 110 employees (60 local employees).  This is an amazing company to work for…very strong financially, great culture, large technology budget, etc.


Responsibilities:

Technical

  1. Help Desk. First line of support to provide technical support, advice, and assistance to local and remote end-users with technical, hardware, and software system problems.
  2. IT Help Desk Ticketing System. Maintain proper logging and maintenance of help desk calls via ticketing system.
  3. End User Hardware Support. Setup/configuration of new hardware, repairs, and third party coordination of repairs and warranty support.
  4. Network Administration. First line of support for maintaining technology infrastructure. This includes but is not limited to:
    1. Windows Server/Domain Administration: Virtual Server Infrastructure, Patching, User Administration, Security, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and Anti-virus Endpoint Protection.
    2. Firewalls and Switches: Firewall Rules, VPN, VLAN.
    3. WiFi infrastructure.
    4. VoIP Phone System
    5. Microsoft Office 365
  • Business Intelligence Reporting: Support organizational reporting needs by using SQL Scripting Query Language, and by creating reports using various BI Reporting tools such as Power Bi, and Excel.
  • Office 365 Administration and Support: Administration in all aspects of O365: Email/Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Security and Compliance, Azure Active Directory, Power Bi, Power Apps, and Flow.
  • ERP Support and Administration. Administer and maintain the current ERP System. Provide end-user support for the current ERP System.
  • Administrative
    1. Maintain and ensure compliance with all IT Related GOPP’s and COPP’s.
    2. Maintain IT related Fixed Assets.
    3. Maintain IT software/hardware contract lists.
    4. Mobile device administration. 
    5. Responsible for coordinating maintenance of all office equipment (copiers, printers, postage meter, etc.) and making recommendations for new equipment as needed.
