Prestige Staffing is looking for an Office Manager for a well established internal medicine practice near Northside Hospital. 

The Office Manager is responsible for the day to day operations of an established seven physician concierge medical practice. The ideal candidate will assist with business planning and process improvement, compliance with industry regulations, financial management, human resource management, information management, and relationship liaison for the practice.

Base pay of $80-90K DOE plus profit sharing

Duties include:

Human Resources Management - Recruitment, interviewing and onboarding of new staff. Conduct performance reviews, assign activities, offer feedback and manage developmental training.

Financial Management - Act as financial manager and accounting professional for the practice. Duties include processing payroll, creating financial reports, measuring cash flow and profitability, handling invoices and checks, and monitoring billing and accounts receivable.

Information Management - Oversee the planning, procurement and training for all technology in the practice to ensure both the industry requirements as well as the needs of the practice are met.

Planning & Marketing - Constantly focus on process improvement to create plans for enhancements and more efficient business operations. Problem solver and a critical thinker.

Business & Clinical Operations - Create work schedules, manage records, order supplies, attend meetings, contact insurance companies and patients, update and maintain physician credentialing and perform other general administrative tasks as needed.

Governance & Organizational Dynamics and Risk Management - Must understand state and federal laws and regulations regarding patient care and healthcare facility management and continually monitor for compliance, coordinating with outside parties, and addressing any compliance issues promptly.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven leadership demonstrating the ability to achieve and preserve professional standards
  • Knowledge and experience in all aspects of billing and regulations related to Medicare, and commercial insurance
  • Human resources experience in hiring, supervision, and performance reviews
  • Knowledge of HIPAA and employment law
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with keen abilities to solve problems and make decisions

  • Proven track record of successful leadership within a medical practice/facility 
  • Proficient with MS Office products
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks 
  • eClinicalWorks experience is a plus
  • Financial budgeting  and accounting Skills needed
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Management or related field
  • Must have impeccable customer service skills 
  • Very detail oriented
  • Professional presentation and communication skills
  • Must have very good credit/clean financial history (credit check required)
  • Clear background check and drug screen
  • Verifiable management references
