Prestige Staffing is currently partnered with a leading provider of software and hardware products that is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead their team of .NET engineers and architects as they are building an IoT based customer facing platform. This role would be guiding and mentoring a team of 20-25 direct reports in design, development and delivery of one of their core software product platforms that will be utilized by some of the largest name brand enterprise organizations in the world.

This role is primarily strategic, focused on leading and mentoring the members of the team while also contributing towards the overall architecture and direction of the product line within this group. Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience of leading and managing geographically dispersed software engineering teams
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented development principles, data structures and algorithm design is required
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and become an expert in new technologies
  • Extensive background in Microsoft .NET Technologies and the surrounding technical ecosystem

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical oversight and leadership to the Engineering team from conception to completion.
  • Work in an Agile development environment using advanced methodologies.
  • Accomplish work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching; identifying and implementing work process improvements to deliver high quality products.
  • Evangelize and drive adoption of new web trends, standards and emerging technologies.
