SENIOR ENGINEERING MANAGER 

Direct Hire 

Location: Austin, TX 78751  (100% remote)

Requirements

? 7+ years of experience leading a software development team through multiple product/platform releases 

? Minimum 4+ years of experience making significant individual contribution to real-world software development, preferably in stack consisting of React, Spring Boot, NodeJS, Ruby, MySQL, REST APIs, in a distributed micros-service based architecture, backed by components like Nginx, Redis 

? Proficient in Application Life Cycle Management tools such as Atlassian JIRA(preferably), Continuous Integration tools such as Bitrise, Jenkins, TeamCity, Source Code Management using Git

? Ability to work in a multi-disciplined, cross-department environment across multiple time zones

? Experience with cloud computing services (Amazon Web Services like Lambda, S3, Cloud Watch, ECS, and RDS preferred)

? Knowledge in Unix/Linux especially on SSH, DB Connection and script management would be great

? Experience working with SaaS applications would be great

? Familiarity with VOIP would be great

? Passion for automation

 

Like to Have

? Hands-on experience in building test automation frameworks for REST API’s , web services

? Partner with Platform Solutions, DevOPS & IT Systems in execution of the production deployments and adaptations of new functionality, which includes an on-call availability

? Strong understanding of mobile paradigms and technologies, iOS and Android
