Senior Software Engineer

Prestige Staffing is currently partnered with a highly innovative software product and analytics company headquartered in the Charlotte, NC metro area. They’re a high growth organization that has created a thriving engineering culture and are seeking passionate software engineers to add to their growing teams.

Our client is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer with strong experience building end to end software products with Node.js, Typescript, and AWS among others. This client has an evolving technical environment with a “best tool for the job” type of approach and are focused on hiring engineers who embrace a similar mindset. While they’re a well-established company with a global reach, their engineering organization still operates with a start-up mind-set allowing their engineers to have autonomy, ownership, and influence in the building of their products and applications.

Skills They’re Looking For:

• 8+ years of software development experience with at least one primary language (Java, Node.js, Golang, PHP, Python, etc..)
• 2+ years of experience and proficiency with Node.js
• Strong understanding and of solutions architecture on modern cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Strong understanding of software design patterns, object oriented programming, functional programming concepts, and software architecture.
• Experience with a variety of API paradigms such as REST, GraphQ, Webhooks, Websockets, Event-driven architectures.
• Deep knowledge of databases, data modeling, query optimization, and caching.
• Deep knowledge of Test Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD)
