Certified Medical Assistant
Specialty: Internal Medicine Practice
Location: Sandy Springs, GA
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-4:30pm.
No nights or weekends
Pay: $22-24/hr (depending on experience)
Summary:
Primary responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vitals, giving immunizations, venipuncture, running EKG’s, charting, and documentation in the medical record software.
Requirements:
- Flu & COVID vaccinated (will take declination)
- Prefer someone who is certified / registered as a Medical Assistant (with documentation)
- Internal medicine or primary care experience is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of hands on clinical experience
- eClinicalWorks experience a huge plus
- Able to pass a criminal background and drug test
- Professional written and oral communication skills
- Experienced taking vitals, documentation & using an EMR system
- Computer literate and able to type accurately and quickly
- Recent phlebotomy skills (will have to prove in interview)
- Comfortable giving injections daily
- HIPAA savvy
- Able to take an EKG
- Comfortable talking to insurance companies and patients over the phone
