Requirements:

• Certified Medical Assistant certification
• Prior clinical support experience preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
• Attention to detail and proficiency in medical documentation
• Flexibility to perform both general and procedure room tasks

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate patient check-in and guide them to exam rooms
• Triage visits, record vital signs, and document patient information
• Request and review patient records and imaging reports
• Assist providers with referrals, orders, and prescriptions
• Call in prescriptions and dispense medications as prescribed
• Conduct medication prior authorizations through Cover My Meds
• Perform brain scope testing and scan patient records
• Review and process forms such as Review of Systems & PHQ-9
• Manage email, voicemail, and fax correspondence efficiently
• Track sample medications and maintain stock levels
• Sanitize patient rooms and equipment
• Prepare patients and documents for procedures, including injections and surgical prescriptions
• Coordinate with external providers and enter necessary orders
