You’ll work closely with our IT Director to execute strategic initiatives that modernize our infrastructure — from migrating legacy systems to implementing cloud-first solutions. This role demands strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and end users.
What You’ll Own:

Identity & Endpoint Management
- Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune for Windows 10/11 endpoints.
- Configure Conditional Access, MFA enforcement, and compliance policies via Microsoft Entra ID.
- Automate device provisioning and enforce baseline security standards.
End-User Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide Tier 1-3 support for employees across departments and locations.
- Serve as a trusted technical partner, resolving identity, device, and connectivity issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with vendors and escalate cases to maintain business continuity.
Automation & Operational Engineering
- Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to streamline provisioning, monitoring, and system management.
- Implement proactive monitoring and alerting for system health and device status.
- Document best practices and contribute to knowledgebase resources.
Support & Resilience
- Deliver Tier 2/3 support during key project rollouts.
- Assist with cloud backup strategies, disaster recovery testing, and infrastructure security, especially in warehouse and manufacturing areas.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years in systems engineering or infrastructure roles supporting multi-site environments.
- Proven ability to independently design and deliver production-ready solutions from loosely defined goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a calm, confident approach to troubleshooting and user support.
- Hands-on expertise in:

- Practical knowledge of:
- VPN technologies (IPSec, Ubiquiti, Cisco/Meraki)
- Conditional Access, MFA, Zero Trust frameworks
- DNS management/migration
- Backup and cloud migration processes
- Strong communication skills and self-motivation.
Preferred Experience:
- Ubiquiti UniFi network stack
- Azure Monitor, Power BI, or dashboarding tools
- Dynamics 365 or Business Central infrastructure prep
- PowerApps, Power Automate, and automation workflows
- Participation in PCI or security audits
Education:
