Pay: $18-21/hr - Depending on experience
Location: North Dallas, TX 75231
Summary
Seeking a dedicated DME Technician to provide patient care and education related to durable medical equipment (DME). This role involves fitting and applying braces and crutches, molding and removal of casts and splints, ensuring proper inventory stocking, scheduling, and documentation. The position is on-site at multiple locations in North Dallas and Plano.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1+ year experience with DME
- Ability to perform patient fitting and education
- Competency in molding and removing casts and splints
- Strong organizational skills for inventory management and scheduling
Responsibilities
- Educate patients on DME products and their proper use
- Fit and apply braces and crutches according to patient needs
- Mold and remove casts and splints ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Manage DME inventory to ensure stock levels are maintained
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures
- Complete accurate documentation of patient interactions and procedures
