Summary

Join a dynamic primary care clinic focused on senior health, where you will provide vital clinical and administrative support in a fast-paced environment. This 15-week temp-to-perm position offers an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your skills and potentially transition into a permanent role. The ideal candidate is a bilingual Medical Assistant with at least one year of experience, eager to contribute to quality patient care and grow professionally.
 

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year medical assisting experience
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Strong knowledge of EMR systems (eCW or EPIC preferred)
• Experience with injections, phlebotomy, medication administration, and documentation
• Ability to handle clinical procedures and front desk duties
• Must pass a 9-panel drug screen and background checks
• Own transportation and ability to work full-time onsite
• No part-time, weekends, or holidays required
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with medical protocols
   

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for examinations, obtaining medical histories and vital signs
• Assist providers with procedures and examinations, including injections and lab tests
• Manage electronic medical records accurately and thoroughly
• Handle front desk operations: scheduling, patient check-in/out, phone triage
• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments post-procedure
• Administer medications and perform clinical tests as directed
• Document all patient interactions and procedural details in EMR
• Support inventory management and supply ordering
• Provide patient education and care coordination support
• Assist with onboarding and training new team members
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and safety protocols
• Additional clinical and administrative duties as assigned
