IT System Administrator

Primary Duties

• Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and InTune platforms

• Administer Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Windows Servers

• Administer corporate and operational technology applications

• Perform patching of server and workstation operating systems and application software

• Administer security monitoring and vulnerability scanning systems

• Administer system inventory and performance monitoring applications

• Administer endpoint remote management and security software

• Administer server backup jobs and related systems

• Administer email filtering and secure DNS systems

• Develop procedures and documentation for all supported systems and applications

• Prepare management and technical level reports for internal and external stakeholders

• Respond to inquiries from internal and external users for tier 1 and tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting

• Perform after-hours administrative activities and respond to after-hours service requests

• Resolve service desk tickets as assigned

• Ensures compliance to standards for all systems administered

• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related computer field

• At least three years’ experience in system administration

• Knowledge of VMware virtual machine environments

• Team oriented with collaborative working style

• Self-motivator that manages time well and can manage multiple tasks concurrently

• Proven analytical problem-solving and business communication skills

• Valid Illinois Class D Driver’s License. Some travel is required
