Application Support Technician

Pay: $95,000 - $105,000

Location: Hoboken (Hybrid)

Summary:
Join a dynamic support team as a Level 1 Support Technician, providing essential first-touch assistance to users experiencing application and technology issues. This role offers an excellent entry point into a growing software company, where your troubleshooting skills and customer service excellence will directly impact user satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Technical knowledge of Windows 10 & 11 operating systems
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
  • Excellent customer service and client-facing abilities
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively and multi-task efficiently
  • Experience in a client-facing support environment preferred
  • Financial services background is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-level support for application and desktop issues via phone, email, and remote access tools
  • Create and manage user accounts, troubleshoot software and hardware problems
  • Log, track, and escalate tickets as needed, ensuring timely resolution
  • Walk users through problem-solving steps and follow up to confirm resolution
  • Assist with onboarding for new hires, delivering necessary technology support
  • Maintain detailed documentation of support cases and resolutions
  • Manage ticket lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring quality customer service throughout
