Application Support Technician
Application Support Technician
Pay: $95,000 - $105,000
Location: Hoboken (Hybrid)
Summary:
Join a dynamic support team as a Level 1 Support Technician, providing essential first-touch assistance to users experiencing application and technology issues. This role offers an excellent entry point into a growing software company, where your troubleshooting skills and customer service excellence will directly impact user satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Technical knowledge of Windows 10 & 11 operating systems
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English
- Excellent customer service and client-facing abilities
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively and multi-task efficiently
- Experience in a client-facing support environment preferred
- Financial services background is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level support for application and desktop issues via phone, email, and remote access tools
- Create and manage user accounts, troubleshoot software and hardware problems
- Log, track, and escalate tickets as needed, ensuring timely resolution
- Walk users through problem-solving steps and follow up to confirm resolution
- Assist with onboarding for new hires, delivering necessary technology support
- Maintain detailed documentation of support cases and resolutions
- Manage ticket lifecycle from initiation to closure, ensuring quality customer service throughout
