Part-Time Ultrasound Technologist (DMS & Echocardiography)
Prestige Staffing is looking for a Part-Time Ultrasound Technologist (DMS & Echocardiography) to work two days a week. This is a direct hire role and is located in Sandy Springs, GA. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Ultrasound Technologist to join our team on a part-time basis. This role requires proficiency in both Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) and Echocardiography. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently, producing high-quality diagnostic images, and providing excellent patient care.
Details:
Compensation: $50 an hour
Hours - part time two full days
Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures, including general diagnostic (DMS) and cardiac (echocardiography) exams
Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and ensuring comfort
Acquire and analyze high-quality images for physician interpretation
Recognize and document normal and abnormal findings
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Ensure proper operation and maintenance of ultrasound equipment
Follow all safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
Current certification in:
RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or equivalent (preferred/required based on your needs)
Minimum [X] years of experience in both general and cardiac ultrasound preferred
Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology
Excellent patient care and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Skills
Experience in outpatient or private practice settings
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Strong attention to detail and diagnostic accuracy
Work Schedule
2 days per week (e.g., [Monday & Wednesday] or flexible based on availability)
No weekends/No call (adjust if needed)
