X-Ray Technician
Reports to: Office Manager

About the Role:
We’re hiring an X-ray Technician to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in a clinical setting. This role combines patient care with technical precision to support accurate diagnoses and safe practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for X-ray exams, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort

  • Properly position patients and operate imaging equipment to obtain accurate results

  • Follow strict radiation safety protocols for patients, coworkers, and self

  • Collaborate with providers to determine the best imaging approach for each case

  • Capture and review digital or film X-rays to ensure diagnostic quality

  • Document patient information and exam details in the electronic medical record

  • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

  • Keep the X-ray area clean, organized, and fully operational

  • Stay informed on imaging technology and best practices

  • Support additional clinical tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or certification in Radiologic Technology

  • Current state license or certification as an X-ray Technician

  • Proficiency in radiographic equipment and safety protocols

  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with patients and team members

  • High attention to detail and the ability to follow protocols precisely

  • Comfortable in a busy, collaborative medical environment

  • Experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools

  • Strong commitment to high standards in patient care

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to lift or assist patients and move equipment (up to 15 lbs)

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching during shifts

  • Normal or corrected vision and hearing required

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and use computers and phones

  • Must have reliable transportation
