IT Manager – Carol Stream, IL (On-Site)

We are searching for an experienced, hands-on IT Manager to join our team and help drive continued growth. This is an exciting opportunity to improve IT policies, systems, and procedures while mentoring a junior team. The role is on-site Monday through Friday at our headquarters in Carol Stream, IL.

Key Details:

• Compensation: Up to $125,000 base salary annually (commensurate with experience)

• Organization size: ~200 employees

• Leadership role with both strategic and hands-on responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

• Lead IT strategy, daily operations, and junior staff development

• Roll up your sleeves to manage key projects such as VMware/infrastructure upgrades, server migrations, and weekend maintenance windows

• Design and implement IT policies, backup strategies, cybersecurity solutions, and disaster recovery plans

• Oversee ERP initiatives, including upcoming implementations of D365 and Salesforce

• Manage network, storage, and system infrastructure including HPE/Dell servers, VMware ESXi, Cisco networking, IBM FlashSystem SAN, Microsoft 365, and Azure Active Directory

What You Bring:

• 10+ years of IT management and hands-on infrastructure experience

• Strong background mentoring and developing junior IT staff

• Proven success with infrastructure upgrades, ERP implementations, and IT security initiatives

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (preferred)

• Certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, and Cisco CCNA/CCNP are a plus
