Location: Wayland, MA. 01778
Hours: M-F 8 to 4:30
Pay: starting at $25+ per hour depending on experience 
 

Prestige Staffing is searching for a Certified Medical Assistant to help support front and back office. This is a highly customer focused role. 

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience in a primary medical practice setting are required
• Athena EMR experience required
• Recent phlebotomy experience required
• BLS required
• Medical Assistant certification required

• Welcoming patients into the practice
• Scheduling, canceling, and rescheduling patient appointments
• Processing patient payments
• Entering charges, payments, and balancing the day in the computer
• Accurately completing and documenting patient medical and physical histories and other related items in the EMR
• Recording vital signs, performing EKG, spirometry and or other similar non-complex office procedures
• Aiding the physician during treatment, examination, and or testing of patients - may include injections and immunizations
• Coordinating phone requests to refill prescription drug medications in accordance with physician instructions
