Medical Customer Service Rep
Title: Patient Service Representative
Need 10 reps for 4-6 weeks to make in/out bound calls to patients to discuss their hospital accounts. Need to be familiar with healthcare deductibles and copays. Able to ask the patient for payment on the phone. Must be able to start work ASAP and go into the office daily.
Pay: $15-16/hr
Location: Melbourne, FL
Schedule: Open hours are M-Thurs 8a-8p, and Friday 8a-7p. Flexible schedule as long as 8 hrs/day and 40 hrs/week!
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of medical patient access, customer service, patient interaction discussing patient responsibility for payment
- Knowledge of insurance types and plan types, Commercial Insurance, Managed Care Plans, Medicare, Tricare, PPO, POS, HMO, etc.
- Able to be on the phone all day long making outbound and taking inbound calls on an auto dialer
- Able to ask for payment over the phone for the amount due
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Complete F.D.C.P.A. training and pass test at end
