Phlebotomist
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable professional to join our team. This role focuses on performing phlebotomy, supporting laboratory operations, and ensuring accurate specimen handling under general supervision.
Key Responsibilities

Draw and process blood samples, ensuring accurate labeling and timely delivery for testing.

Prepare and package specimens for shipment to outside laboratories.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and supply levels in the phlebotomy area.

Assist laboratory staff with daily operations, including specimen centrifugation and documentation.

Handle urine specimens and other samples according to established procedures.
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; at least one year of phlebotomy experience preferred.

Familiarity with medical terminology.

Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and in high-pressure situations.

Proficiency in medical software, Microsoft Office, and internet applications.
Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Comfortable working at a computer for prolonged periods.
