Government Enrollment Specialist

Prestige Staffing is hiring for a  Government Enrollment Specialist (Credentialer) for a direct hire role. This role is in the office daily and offers exceptional benefits. 

Shift: Monday - Friday 8-4:30 (some flexibility)
Location: Tucker, GA 
Pay: $23-28/hr. (based on yrs of exp and education)

Job Description

• Under general supervision, coordinates activities related to the enrollment of Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals with Medicare, Georgia Medicaid and TRICARE.
• Serves as liaison between providers and the Medical Staff Services Department. Secures necessary verifications and paperwork and provides accurate enrollment of practitioner files for initial enrollment, enrollment for additional locations, and revalidations of existing enrollment.
• Reviews applications and follows up to obtain any missing information to ensure applications are complete.
• Enters and retrieves data from computer using MSOW / Morrisey and/or  CAS/EHIS database management software.
• Coordinates the government payer enrollment process for appointments/reappointments in compliance with the payer requirements and government regulations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of credentialing experience in an acute care hospital, managed care organization and/or credentialing verification organization. A bachelor's degree may be substituted in lieu of experience.
• A basic knowledge of accreditation standards and state and federal credentialing related regulations and a working knowledge of medical terminology are preferred.
• Must have experience with word processing and database management computer applications.
• Able to pass a drug test and criminal background
• MSOW or Morrisey experience
