Summary
Seeking a dedicated Scheduler to join our team for a 13-week contract with potential for permanent placement. This role primarily involves phone-based scheduling within a medical setting, requiring excellent customer service and administrative skills. The ideal candidate will have at least 1+ year of front office or medical administrative experience, demonstrate reliability, and possess a strong ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff. Cross-training opportunities may arise to assist in other areas of the office.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1+ year of front desk or medical admin experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Comfortable with 100% phone-based scheduling
• Reliable and non-job-hopping background
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm
• Must have prior experience in a healthcare environment, preferably in infusion, GI, or gastro services
• Must ask about previous applications or interviews

Responsibilities

• Manage patient scheduling via phone and electronic systems efficiently and accurately
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and staff
• Assist with administrative duties as needed
• Cross-train to support other office functions when required
• Ensure smooth operation of the front desk and communications
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to healthcare regulations
