Summary
Seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Technician or Registered Orthopedic Tech to support patient care in a fast-paced medical environment. This role involves rooming patients, taking vital signs, managing medical equipment, and assisting with casting, bracing, and fitting procedures. The position offers a dynamic work setting focused on orthopedic care, with potential for permanent placement for the right candidate.
Requirements
- Experience with casting, splinting, and bracing
- Ability to room patients and take vital signs
- Prior experience with DME ordering and fitting procedures
- Confidence and initiative in patient interactions
- Preferred: Cast Technician or ROC license
Responsibilities
- Room patients and prepare them for examination
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Manage and order durable medical equipment (DME)
- Assist with casting, splinting, and bracing procedures
- Support patient comfort and ensure proper documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare team to provide efficient patient care
