Summary:

The Medical Assistant will support a collaborative care team, working closely with providers to ensure seamless patient experiences. The position involves a mix of administrative and clinical duties, including patient intake, documentation, and basic lab work. Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, preferably in private or concierge settings
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Records (eClinicalWorks preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Previous experience with injections, blood draws, and phlebotomy (strongly desired)
- Professional, polished demeanor and healthcare-centric attitude
- Ability to commute reliably to Sandy Springs
Responsibilities:
- Greet and prepare patients for exams, obtain vitals, and assist with procedures such as EKGs and immunizations
- Support in-office procedures, including blood draws and specimen collection
- Manage patient documentation and electronic health records accurately and efficiently
- Handle prior authorizations, referrals, and prescription refills
- Communicate effectively with patients via phone, email, and portal
- Maintain clinical environment following OSHA and infection control protocols
- Assist with scheduling and front-desk support as needed
- Collaborate with the care team to optimize patient flow and deliver comprehensive, compassionate care
