Sr. Manager, International Tax
Job Title: Senior Manager, International Tax
Location: Atlanta, GA (4 days onsite, 1 remote)
Pay: $200-250K total comp
Senior Manager, International Tax
Prestige Staffing is looking for a Senior Manager of International Tax to join our tax team at our Atlanta headquarters. This role requires a deep understanding of international tax, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage and collaborate with both internal and external teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the U.S. international tax process, including collecting and standardizing global financial data, reviewing tax technical aspects of U.S. international tax filings, and managing both internal and external resources, as well as tax software systems.
- Design and oversee the company’s processes and calculations related to E&P, Subpart F income, GILTI, FDII, BEAT, and foreign tax credits.
- Monitor and analyze changes in tax legislation to assess their impact on compliance and tax accounting.
- Assist in analyzing the tax implications of the company's global operations and transactions for financial reporting.
- Coordinate regularly with external advisors and service providers.
- Review intercompany agreement schedules and transfer pricing documentation for compliance and planning purposes as needed.
- Manage various special projects, conduct research on international tax issues, and prepare memoranda to document findings.
- Ensure all filing deadlines are met according to the company’s tax calendar.
Qualifications & Experience:
- CPA preferred, but not required.
- At least 7 years of experience in international tax, with expertise in compliance, tax accounting, audit support, and/or planning.
- Experience with a top-tier accounting firm or a large U.S. multinational corporation is required.
- Strong understanding and application of ASC 740 preferred.
- Familiarity with Thomson Reuters OneSource RS tax software, OneSource Provision software, Oracle, and other financial systems is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing direct reports.
- Proven track record in staff mentoring and project management.
- Experience in process improvement, streamlining procedures, and reporting.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Solid work paper documentation skills.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, tax, or finance (Master’s degree in Taxation preferred).
Schedule: This position offers one day per week of work-from-home flexibility.
