Payroll Specialist

Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: Chattanooga, TN
Pay: $20-26/hr 
Schedule: M-F, 8:30am-5pm. (2 days remote after training) 
Job Type: Permanent, Hourly (37.5 hrs/week) 

• Assist Payroll Coordinator with Kronos Supervisors' access and timely addition of projects
• Resolve employee and department head questions/problems, prepares and accurately maintains all payroll bi-weekly tax records/reports and deductions
• Process check requests for Accounts Payable and ensure the check's timely mailing
• Works with Payroll Coordinator in testing and preparing for Kronos/PeopleSoft upgrades
• Ensures payroll edits are timely for payroll deadline, answer phone calls/emails regarding payroll questions as needed
• Learn to fully run a complete payroll cycle in the event that the Payroll Supervisor is unavailable
