Certified or Registered Medical Assistant

One of our best clients is seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical setting and hold a current national Medical Assistant certification or registration (e.g., CMA, RMA).

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting.
• Current national Medical Assistant certification or registration (e.g., CMA, RMA).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and clinical procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Experience in a surgical or dermatological setting is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians directly during procedures.
• Prepare patients for treatments.
• Manage and update patient charts and medical documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Provide clear and comprehensive pre- and post-operative care instructions to patients.
• Monitor patients during and after procedures, observing for any complications.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and well-organized clinical environment, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, answering phones, and processing paperwork as needed.
• Ensure patient comfort and provide compassionate care throughout their visit.
• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures.
