Shift Availability: Monday – Friday; Flexible, including evenings

Job Summary:
As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our members. Your role involves providing exceptional service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and educating members about their health plan benefits. This position requires strong communication skills, proficiency with computer systems, and a solid understanding of healthcare terminology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly and professionally to inbound calls, emails, or chat inquiries from members.
- Provide accurate information about health plan benefits, coverage, claims, and billing.
- Assist members with navigating online portals and understanding their health insurance options.
- Resolve customer concerns or escalate issues to appropriate departments when necessary.
- Document interactions and update member accounts in the system accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines and company policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and stay updated on changes in health plan offerings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in a related field is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficient in using computers and navigating multiple software systems.
- Familiarity with healthcare terminology and insurance processes is required.
- Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, as needed.
- Prior experience in a call center or customer service environment, especially in healthcare, is required.
