Summary

As an SSOC Support Engineer, you will be responsible for triaging and troubleshooting diverse security, networking, and systems issues across cloud and on-premises environments. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in networking, security, and systems support
- Degree in IT or related field; certifications such as CompTIA, Network+, Security+ preferred
- Experience with Office365, Exchange, Azure, Active Directory, NTFS permissions, Windows servers
- Strong troubleshooting skills in Azure, triage, and general network/security issues
- Proficient in scripting, especially PowerShell, with a focus on automation and efficiency
- Ability to support low-level systems tickets, with experience handling phishing, firmware upgrades, and user permissions
- Excellent problem-solving, quick learner, and team-oriented mindset
- Light programming experience and ability to assist dev teams with scripts and automation
Responsibilities
- Support and troubleshoot Azure, Office365, Exchange, and related systems
- Triage security and network issues, including phishing email assessments and server firmware updates
- Create and manage shared folder locations, permissions, and security policies
- Assist with low-level system tickets related to Active Directory, NTFS permissions, and Windows servers
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell to streamline repetitive tasks
- Support the SSOC team of 33 members, managing approximately 100 tickets per week
- Escalate issues outside scope, maintaining proper ticket documentation and follow-up
- Collaborate with the dev team on coding tasks, utilizing AI for automation purposes
- Support night shifts, ensuring seamless system upgrades and maintenance
