Hospital Denials Manager (Hybrid)

Prestige Staffing is searching for a Denials Manager for a direct hire role. Must have hospital denials and appeals experience as well as a proven track record for leading a team. Candidate must be hard working and a self-starter. If you want the opportunity to work in a rewarding and dynamic environment, this is your chance. This is a permanent position, and pay is based upon experience. $75-90k

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years in of management or supervisory experience in a healthcare revenue cycle setting
  • At least 3 years of Hospital Denials/Appeals and accounts receivable or healthcare experience
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and Commercial Insurance Contracts is required
  • In-depth knowledge of medical billing, coding, and insurance claim processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Proficiency in revenue cycle management software and Excel.
  • Familiarity with payer policies and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, CMS guidelines).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the denial management team to analyze and address claim denials from insurance providers.
  • Develop and implement denial prevention strategies and appeal processes to minimize denials.
  • Monitor and track denial trends, providing regular reports to management and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the billing, coding, and insurance teams of multiple clients to identify root causes of denials and create corrective actions.
  • Manage the appeals process, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of denied claims.
  • Stay up to date with payer policies, industry regulations, and coding updates to prevent future denials.
  • Train and mentor team members on best practices for denial resolution and appeals.
  • Implement process improvements to streamline denial management and enhance efficiency.
  • Work with the revenue cycle management team to achieve and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs).
