Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – OBGYN Clinic
Location: Oconomowoc, Wisconsin
Pay: $22 - $24
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:00 - 5:00 PM

Position Summary:
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will play a vital role in supporting our providers and ensuring a smooth, efficient clinical workflow. You will assist with patient care, perform clinical tasks, and help maintain an organized and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Room patients and collect vital signs, medical history, and reason for visit

Assist with in-office procedures (e.g., Pap smears, pelvic exams, colposcopies, biopsies)

Prepare and maintain exam rooms with necessary instruments and supplies

Perform point-of-care testing and phlebotomy as needed

Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR) system

Provide patient education and instructions as directed by the provider

Schedule follow-up appointments and assist with referrals

Ensure proper sterilization and infection control procedures

Support front desk when needed (e.g., answering phones, verifying insurance)
Qualifications:
-
High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential (AAMA, AMT, or equivalent)

Current BLS certification
-
Previous experience in an OBGYN or women’s health setting strongly preferred
-
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR), especially [insert system used, if known]

Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude

Ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced environment
