QA Engineer

Pay: $50-55/hr (6-12+ month contract) 

Location: Remote (Company Based in Chicago)


Looking for a detail oriented Manual QA Engineer for a 6-12+ month contract with potential for FTE conversion! This person will be working on Commerce based projects like Cross Browser, Shopping Cart, ect. 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a testing strategy aligned with an agile software development life cycle (SDLC) process
  • Work closely with the business and the development team to triage, identify and resolve bugs and issues
  • Close gaps in existing test cases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction
  • Develop new specifications for automated and functional test cases for new development
Required Experience
  • Knowledge of Agile processes
  • Strong experience in software quality assurance and testing
  • Knowledge of Drupal
  • Knowledge of Postman, Swagger, or similar tools
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs
  • Experience developing comprehensive test cases for new features as well as regression testing
  • Cross Browser / Response testing
  • Experience with Jira / Confluence / MS Excel
Differentiating Skills
  • Testing e-Commerce (Drupal Commerce) / Payments experience
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Mobile app / device Testing
Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of a testing framework such as Mocha, Chai, Jest, etc.
  • Knowledge of testing automation platforms such as Selenium etc.
  • Experience with Functional, Behavioral, Integration, and Unit Testing
