Summary
We are seeking an experienced Medical Coder specializing in Radiology to support our transition from vendor-based coding to in-house services. This critical role involves coding radiology and interventional radiology procedures, requiring in-depth knowledge of radiology services. The ideal candidate will have extensive radiology coding experience, with certification a plus, to ensure accurate and compliant coding for a variety of radiological procedures. This position offers the flexibility of remote work and aligns with a day shift schedule.

Requirements

• Proven experience in radiology coding
• Knowledge of interventional radiology (IR) coding highly preferred
• Radiology certification (e.g., CCS, RHIT, RHIA) a plus
• Strong understanding of medical coding guidelines and compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to new processes and work independently

Responsibilities

• Code radiology and interventional radiology procedures accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams during the transition process
• Maintain current knowledge of coding guidelines and industry standards
• Assist in quality assurance and compliance audits
• Support the development of in-house coding workflows and documentation protocols
