Patient Care Coordinator (PCC)

Medical Practice in Decatur looking for a Patient Care Coordinator

Prestige Staffing has been tasked by one of our best clients to find a medical front office associate to interview and go to work ASAP!  This is a contract to hire position.

Requirements:

• Managing incoming calls
• Collecting, processing, and posting payments in EMR
• Optimizing providers schedulers and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling 
• Keeping providers on time by checking patients in quickly and efficiently 
• Calling patients to remind them of upcoming appointments 
• Verify insurance and co-payments 
• Preparing patient forms prior to visit 
• Scanning and maintaining fax inbox
• Assist patients with their concerns to route calls appropriately for assistance 
• HIPAA Compliance 

• At least 1 year of Medical Front Office experience 
• Experience with Athena EMR is preferred 
• Ability to work in Decatur and float to Conyers if needed
