Senior Engineer, IT Multimedia Engineering

Seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join a dynamic IT Multimedia Engineering team responsible for broadcast, digital signage, and multimedia infrastructures. This role involves designing, supporting, and optimizing high-performance media environments across global platforms. The ideal candidate will demonstrate extensive technical expertise, project management acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, multimedia, broadcast, or related field
• 6+ years of experience in digital signage, IPTV/streaming, video walls, AV/IT technologies, broadcast control rooms, and multimedia asset management
• Deep knowledge of live streaming workflows, broadcast media systems, and connectivity solutions
• Proficiency with AV over IP networking, system architecture, and disaster recovery strategies
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, multicast/unicast, firewalls, and network security protocols
• Solid server-client fundamentals across Linux, Windows, and MacOS environments
• Excellent organizational and project management skills with a proven ability to prioritize in fast-paced settings
• Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs., bend, stretch, and climb as needed
  Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust multimedia systems, including digital signage, broadcast, IPTV, and AV/IT networks
• Manage project planning discussions, develop system diagrams, and create technical documentation, RFPs, and hardware specifications
• Coordinate with AV integrators, system designers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless system deployment
• Maintain service level agreements (SLAs), review vendor contracts, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness
• Develop and implement issue resolution workflows, continuously enhancing media system performance and stability
• Communicate effectively with IT Operations teams during major incidents and perform root cause analysis
• Support live broadcast environments, ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of multimedia assets
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to develop best practices, optimize workflows, and deliver innovative media solutions
