Senior Compensation Analyst Non-Clinical - Human Resources
Pay: $55.00/hour
Location: Chicago, IL
Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Compensation Analyst to design, develop, and execute our company's compensation programs, tools, and processes. This role will conduct analyses of jobs, hourly wages, salaries, and incentives to evaluate internal equity, external competitiveness, and legal compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Human Resources Management, or related discipline
- Five years of progressive experience in Compensation or related field
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities while prioritizing and meeting deadlines
- Strong computer skills, including familiarity with MS Word, Excel, Access, and HRIS systems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Customer-service focused and able to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees and managers
Responsibilities:
- Serve as SME on projects for larger compensation initiatives
- Conduct job evaluation analyses and equity analyses
- Partner with HRBP to consult and advise on departmental requests
- Conduct large scale market studies and present proposals to department management
- Complete and submit relevant salary surveys
- Manage the annual update of medical center salary structures
- Assist with education, training, and quality audit activities
- Serve as an expert resource to others in department and throughout medical center
- Review and recommend changes to compensation policies and procedures
Benefits: This is a hybrid position with one day onsite (Tuesday) and the remaining days remote. The compensation package includes a competitive hourly rate, shift differential, and benefits.
