Medical Receptionist - Tulsa, OK
Receptionist – Medical Office
Location - Tulsa, OK
Pay: $16-18/hr.
We're seeking a dependable and personable Receptionist to support front office operations at a medical practice. This role is responsible for administrative and patient-facing tasks to help ensure smooth daily operations. The Receptionist will report to the Office Manager and play a key role in maintaining accurate patient information, coordinating schedules, and processing payments.
Key Responsibilities:

Welcome patients and manage front desk activities, including phone coverage and appointment coordination

Handle patient check-in/out, collect payments, and ensure accurate documentation

Assist with care-related follow-up calls such as reminders and coordination needs

Maintain organized and up-to-date patient records in the system

Support routine administrative tasks like supply tracking and file management
-
Ensure patients receive necessary forms and paperwork
-
Perform other duties as needed to support office workflow
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Familiarity with medical terms and electronic health records
-
Minimum of 1 year in a healthcare office setting

Proficient with basic computer applications and productivity tools
Physical & Operational Requirements:

Ability to sit, stand, lift up to 15 lbs, and move throughout the clinic during the day

Must have reliable transportation

Capable of working at a computer and phone for extended periods
Preferred Skills:

Strong customer service and communication abilities
-
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Comfortable working independently and across teams

Understanding of HIPAA guidelines and medical coding (preferred)
