Summary
Seeking an experienced Flutter Technical Manager to lead a distributed global engineering team. This strategic role involves overseeing the development of cutting-edge mobile and web applications, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with strong leadership skills, managing senior engineers in multiple locations while aligning engineering efforts with business objectives.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in a management or director role
  • Proven track record deploying multiple Flutter applications to production (mobile/web)
  • Deep expertise in Flutter and Dart, including UI layout, animations, and reactive programming with GetX and other state management frameworks
  • Strong full-stack understanding: Flutter/Dart (frontend), Node.js (backend), PostgreSQL, GraphQL
  • Experience integrating Flutter apps with GraphQL engines like Hasura
  • Skilled in designing reusables components, managing themes, and optimizing performance
  • Experience with authentication protocols such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, enterprise SSO
  • Adept at establishing scalable architectures, CI/CD pipelines, and release processes
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to collaborate across offshore teams and technical disciplines
  • Ability to produce clear documentation for technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a global team of senior Flutter engineers, fostering a positive and accountable engineering culture
  • Manage technical planning, code reviews, and architectural decisions to ensure scalable and maintainable platforms
  • Oversee the entire release cycle, continuously improving engineering processes and deployment standards
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
  • Contribute to hands-on coding and troubleshooting strategic development issues
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of engineering staff
  • Partner with sales and delivery teams to support client projects and ensure high levels of technical excellence
