Mobile Medical Technologist (DC/Fairfax Area)

Prestige Staffing is looking for a Mobile Medical Tech who has worked as a Diagnostic Tech, Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, military medic, or other like fields working with patients. This role will be to work with an ENT practice as a Vestibular Technician in Washington DC area. Will travel daily to a different location between Reston, Arlington, Manassas, Fairfax and Leesburg areas. Will  perform up to 5 diagnostic tests daily spending about 90 min with the patient. Ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and will transport the Mobile Medical Testing equipment in their four door SUV type vehicle. Will go to one office a day.  Ideal candidate will be technically savvy, EMR trained and highly motivated. This is a contract to hire role and will get lots of hands on training. 

Compensation:
$30/hour based on experience and education
Monthly bonus based on the number of patients tested.
Car allowance of $750 & cell phone allowance of $150/monthly
Hours: approximately 32 hours a week Tues - Friday (hours may vary and subject to change as business increases in the practices) The goal is to be 5 days a week

Schedule:
 6-8 hour shifts - stay for testing and paperwork
 Tuesday to Friday onsite daily at a different location. This could go to five days a week based on the growing demand for testing in the DC area. 

Training: 
One week paid training in Atlanta, GA Sun - Friday noon. Travel arrangements made and paid for by company. Two weeks in the field training with help on the job. 

Key Responsibilities:
*Diagnostic Testing: Set up, disassemble, and operate multiple pieces of state-of-the-art vestibular diagnostic equipment on scheduled patients.
*Client Interaction: Maintain professional and courteous interactions with providers’ offices and patients, ensuring high-quality service.
*Clinical Coordination: Work proficiently with web-based portals to submit timely and accurate diagnostic results for clinical interpretation.
*Leadership Potential: As the business grows, take on a leadership role within the territory, helping to train and manage additional technicians.
*Professional Representation: Serve as the face of the business providing exceptional in-office customer service and addressing any questions or concerns promptly.

Qualifications:
*Medical Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, Diagnostic Tech, military medical training, worked with patients
*High School Diploma (Required).
*Good DMV (driving record) & criminal background report
*3+ years of experience working in a medical environment.
*2+ years of experience with diagnostic equipment (e.g., X-ray, EKG, EMG, ABI).
*Prior medical management experience is a plus.
*2 years of scheduling experience a plus
*Experience working with insurance verification helpful
*ModMed EMR system experience is very helpful
*Proficient understanding of medical terminology, CPT Coding (ICD-10), and familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR).
*Experience in ENT, Audiology, Neurotology, Neurology, or Dizziness/Balance Centers is a major plus.
*Familiarity with vestibular diagnostic equipment or experience working with patients who have vestibular dysfunction or a history of falls is highly desirable.
*Strong technological proficiency, particularly with patient management software.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
*Exceptional time management, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
*Highly motivated, self-driven, punctual, and disciplined.
*Able to travel to Atlanta, GA for one week of training at company's expense
