Prestige Staffing is seeking a seasoned (8-10 years) Practice Manager with recent Neurology, Oncology, Pain Management or Orthopedics experience. This is a direct hire role and the role is located in Atlanta, GA Will manage 7 clinical and non-clinical staff. Pay is between $90-105k with a KPI bonus.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership:
- Oversee daily practice operations across multiple departments (clinical, billing, diagnostics, front office).
- Implement and monitor workflows, scheduling systems, and policies to improve efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Coordinate with physicians and clinicians to ensure alignment of clinical and operational priorities.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate administrative and clinical support staff.
- Foster a positive and professional work culture that promotes teamwork and accountability.
- Manage staff schedules, timekeeping, and performance reviews.
- Ensure timely access to care and optimize patient flow from referral to follow-up.
- Address and resolve patient concerns or complaints promptly and effectively.
- Monitor patient satisfaction metrics and drive continuous improvement
- Support revenue cycle processes including billing, coding accuracy, insurance verification, and collections.
- Assist in budget development, expense control, and financial reporting.
- Work with accounting teams on forecasting and financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, CMS, etc.).
- Maintain accurate and secure medical records and operational documentation.
- Support audits, inspections, and accreditation activities.
- Oversee use of electronic health record (EHR) systems, scheduling software, and practice management tools.
- Generate and analyze operational reports (e.g., patient volumes, no-show rates, referral sources).
- Management of Information Technology including web-based phone systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Masters’ preferred). Years of experience will be considered
- Minimum of 8-10 years of Medical Office Management experience, preferably in a specialty or neurology practice.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations, insurance processes, and revenue cycle management.
- Proficiency with EHR and practice management systems (e.g., Athenahealth and Epic preferred).
- Excellent communication, leadership, staff management and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary clinical environment.
- Must have valid driver’s license and able to travel to additional locations and events
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule (could require working evenings and/or weekends)
- Above average problem-solving skills
- Computer literate with extensive working knowledge of Google Suites; Sheets, Drive, Slides, Docs.
- Motor Vehicle Accident and Workers’ Comp revenue cycle and billing processes knowledge a major plus.
Preferred Attributes
- Knowledge of neurology-specific procedures and terminology
- Experience with multidisciplinary or therapy-integrated practices
- Six-Sigma Lean or process improvement certification (a plus)
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive salary range $90,000 - $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
