Medical Assistant, Pediatric
Pay: $19-20/hr.
Schedule: Fulltime, Monday-Friday 8:30-5:00 ( 1 Saturday morning a month)
Location: Alpharetta
Responsibilities:

Patient Care:
- Assisting pediatric patients with check-in, vital sign measurement, and history documentation.
- Creating a comfortable and welcoming environment to ease children's anxiety.
- Explaining procedures and providing emotional support to children and their parents.

Medical Records Management:
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date electronic health records for pediatric patients.
- Ensuring the confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).

Immunizations and Medication Administration:
- Administering vaccines and medications according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
- Keeping track of vaccination schedules and educating parents on the importance of immunizations.

Communication:
- Effectively communicating with parents and guardians to relay important information, instructions, and follow-up care.
- Collaborating with pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Pediatric Equipment and Inventory Management:
- Handling and maintaining pediatric medical equipment and supplies.
- Monitoring inventory levels, ordering necessary supplies, and ensuring the availability of child-appropriate medical tools and resources.
Requirements:
- At least 2+ years of medical assistant experience
- Experience in Pediatrics/Family Practice is preferred
- Certification is preferred
- Ability to work in a team environment
