Accountant

Location: Minneapolis - onsite 
Salary: 80-85K
Duration: Direct Hire

Our Client is looking for an Accountant to join their team.  This position will be managing inventory and work closely with operations on internal and inventory controls.

Responsibilities

• Help warehouse manager with inventory management for 6 locations and develop a solid and timely cycle count process.
• Preparing cost reports, supervising inventory levels, cost comparisons, product costing analysis, tracking variances and creating journal entries
• Prepare and analyze month-end schedules and key ad-hoc reports.
• Assist in preparation and analysis of corporate budgets, including sales and gross profit budgets by region.
• Manage Intercompany activities, including posting of transactions and reconciling by entity to the general ledger.
• Set-up, consolidate, report, and maintain the annual budgeting process.

Experience & Qualifications 

• Minimum 3–5 years as an Accountant
• Bachelor’s or master's degree in accounting or related field
• Manufacturing, distribution or public accounting background preferred. 
• Must possess advanced Excel skills such as Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, and H-Lookups and provide good formatting of all distributed reports.
