Senior/Principal DevSecOps Engineer

Pay
USD $170,000 – $190,000 annually, with potential to increase up to $200,000 for Principal level

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing and maintaining scalable Linux-based environments.
  • Expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS).
  • Strong background in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
  • Solid knowledge of databases like PostgreSQL, Redis, and Memcached.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architectures.
  • Experience with security best practices, cloud security, and incident response.
     

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure and automation processes.
  • Automate cloud provisioning using Terraform and Helm.
  • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines across various platforms (web, mobile, desktop).
  • Establish monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and related tools.
  • Contribute to security protocols, including IAM policies, network design, and encryption strategies.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure, reliable, and performant systems.
  • Support data lake design and ETL pipelines to facilitate data-driven decision-making.
  • Participate in security incident response, disaster recovery planning, and security audits.
