Oracle Business System Analyst
Oracle Business Systems Analyst
Pay: $85,000 - $110,000 + Bonus
Location: Hybrid/Downers Grove (open to other locations; see notes)
Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Oracle Business Systems Analyst to support and optimize the Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environment within a dynamic manufacturing setting. This hybrid role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot system issues, implement enhancements, and support EDI initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for operational improvements to ensure seamless business processes and system performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field
- 3-5 years of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2, including modules such as RLM, OM, WSH, and WMS
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong project management and analytical skills
- Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) experience, preferably in automotive
- Knowledge of Oracle SQL databases
- Familiarity with Seeburger EDI software and Loftware/NiceLabel labeling software is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate in a team environment
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Responsibilities:
- Support the Oracle EBS system, including resolving help desk tickets and providing backup to other Business Analysts
- Assist in implementing and managing EDI initiatives using Oracle EBS and Seeburger software
- Troubleshoot communication, mapping, and integration issues
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to support configuration, system implementation, and enhancements
- Gather and analyze requirements across various business units to ensure cohesive project execution
- Develop end-user training documentation and perform system testing, including unit, integration, and acceptance testing
- Coordinate with technical teams to resolve application issues and execute system patches or upgrades
- Manage application service requests related to problem resolution and new development
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
- Support system documentation, standardization efforts, and off-hours support as needed
