Call Center
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Call Center Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and professional demeanor, and the ability to handle a high volume of calls efficiently. As a Call Center Receptionist, you will be responsible for managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and providing information to patients and healthcare providers. This is a full time position, Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and provide information about our services.
- Schedule appointments for patients and coordinate with the clinic's scheduling team.
- Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary data for registration.
- Maintain accurate and organized electronic records of patient information.
- Follow up with patients regarding appointment reminders and necessary preparations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth patient experiences.
- Handle inquiries and resolve issues or escalate them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times, reflecting the clinic's values.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in customer service is a plus.
- Proven experience in a call center or customer service role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and scheduling software.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures related to radiology (preferred but not required).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations with composure.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
