Summary
This role provides vital administrative support within a physician practice or clinic, ensuring a high standard of patient-centered care. Responsibilities include managing patient relations, scheduling appointments, verification of insurance, check-in and check-out procedures, and answering provider phone calls. The ideal candidate will be empathetic, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills and experience with Epic systems are highly preferred.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer service background
• Medical office experience preferred
• Reliable transportation required
• Bilingual abilities are a plus
• Epic software experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient check-in, check-out, and scheduling
• Verify insurance information and update patient records accordingly
• Collect payments, process charges, and reconcile daily cash drawers
• Provide accurate information to patients and outside entities
• Manage patient follow-up appointments and referrals
• Respond promptly to phone inquiries and direct calls appropriately
• Support medical records requests as needed
• Handle patient complaints professionally and tactfully
