Position: Medical Assistant
Location: Greenville, SC
Salary: $18-21 per hour
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in both front and back office duties as required.
- Handle chronic care phone communications with patients.
- Room patients, ensuring a smooth flow of appointments.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and billing.
- Assist healthcare providers with examinations, procedures, and treatments as needed.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred but not required.
- Experience working in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics/Family Medicine, Chronic Care, or Cardiology settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with eClinicalWorks EMR system is a plus
- Comfortable working with chronic care patients and handling related phone calls.
- Flexibility to work from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to patient care.
