Job Title: Senior Analyst, International Tax
Location: Atlanta, GA (4 days onsite, 1 remote)
Pay: $85K-105K + 20% bonus potential
Job Description:
The Senior Analyst, International Tax will play a key role in all aspects of international tax, including but not limited to the preparation of US international tax returns, local country corporate and indirect tax filings, estimated payments, and tax provisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare US international tax compliance, including foreign income and indirect tax filings.
- Support the design and preparation of the company’s calculations and processes related to E&P, Subpart F income, and various US international forms.
- Coordinate foreign compliance activities and incorporate foreign data into US international tax filings.
- Prepare quarterly and annual US domestic ASC 740 tax provisions and foreign tax provisions in accordance with IFRS and other local GAAP.
- Analyze financial reporting related to tax implications arising from global operations and transactions.
- Stay updated on tax legislation and assess its impact from a tax compliance and accounting perspective.
- Prepare intercompany agreement schedules and maintain transfer pricing documentation for compliance and planning purposes, as needed.
- Participate in special projects, conduct research on international tax matters, and document findings in memoranda.
- Ensure timely completion of filings in accordance with the company’s tax calendar.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of income tax experience, with a preference for international tax experience.
- CPA preferred, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of US Federal income tax, especially related to international tax.
- Experience with tax compliance, ideally from a national accounting firm or a large US multinational corporation.
- Familiarity with FAS 109/ASC 740 is preferred.
- Experience with tax software such as Thomson Reuters OneSource RS, OneSource Provision, OneSource Workflow Manager (Dataflow), Oracle Fusion, Hyperion, or similar is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Self-motivated and eager to learn.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Tax, or Finance.
