Summary
We are seeking a proactive and organized Desktop Support Specialist to join a prominent organization specializing in HOA management solutions. This role involves providing technical support, setting up hardware and networks, assisting with system migrations and integrations, and delivering user training. The position requires a flexible, self-starter who is comfortable traveling monthly and working on-site across multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, Active Directory, networking, and desktop support, with excellent communication and training skills to ensure smooth technology transitions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in desktop support, IT implementation, or systems analysis
- Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, and TCP/IP networking
- Knowledge of enterprise device management (SCCM, Intune) and telephony systems
- Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and documentation skills
- Ability to travel once a month, typically from Wednesday to Wednesday
- Excellent communication, organization, and change management skills
- Comfort with working in a hybrid environment and supporting system migrations
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network components
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and resolve daily operational issues
- Assist with system migrations, integrations, and onboarding processes
- Support in setting up internet, VPN, and telephony systems for new acquisitions
- Deliver user training and documentation for new technology deployments
- Collaborate with IT and project teams to ensure seamless transitions and support post-go-live
- Manage and track tickets and support requests through FreshService
- Support large-scale system upgrades such as Cisco and Webex migrations
- Coordinate travel and onsite support for branch onboarding and system updates
